This week, students are reviewing all of the standards they've learned in math this year. 6th graders will be taking the Math Milestones next Monday and Tuesday! Homework: Bothers: Finish classwork - Math Whiz Units 5 & 6 (and show work!) Katz: Study review materials. No specific written homework. Leach: Study review materials and work on reviewing with IXL Ledesma: Math Whiz Wkst Unit 3 (Show all appropriate work). Complete and turn in past due IXL (Ivory, Purple, Pink)
Today, students reviewed our Math 6 standards in preparation for the upcoming Milestones. 6th graders will take the Math Milestones on Monday, May 6 and Tuesday, May 7.
Homework: ALL CLASSES: Review/practice for Milestones (study/review notes in your MSG, check out resources here on the blog, etc.) Ledesma: Work on ANY/ALL past due IXLs (pink, purple, ivory) We don't have class on Wed. 4/24 or Thurs. 4/25 due to Milestones testing. See Tuesday's post for any homework.

Homework is to finish the Unit 1 Math Whiz Review WS (WORK MUST BE SHOWN) Katz - Today we worked on a milestones review packet. The students worked on the packet in class. They need to complete up to #28 today. Whatever they didn't finish in class is due for homework. I cannot post the assignment due to copyright restrictions. Leach - Today, we reviewed for the Milestones Test. Homework is Unit 7 Post-Test Corrections and Review WS. Ledesma - Today, we completed the mini post-test for Unit 7 and reviewed for tomorrow's test. Homework is the Unit 7 Study Guide on MSG p. 20-22. Bothers - Students took a Practice Milestones Test from the Coach books to review standards learned throughout the year. HW: Complete #s 1-7 on the Unit 1 Math Whiz Review Katz - Today we played a Jeopardy review game to review concepts from throughout the entire school year. HW: Finish the BACK side of last nights review assignment. Leach - Students reviewed 6th grade Math standards in preparation for the Milestones. HW: Unit 7 Post-Test corrections due on provided forms by Friday Ledesma - Students practiced reflecting points on the coordinate plane. We will test Unit 7 this Friday. HW: Reflection WS (Students must write the coordinates of the original shape, then write the coordinates and graph the reflection.) Work on Pink IXL (Ivory and Purple are past due)
Bothers - Students played Jeopardy to review for the Milestones. HW: None Katz - We finished our Unit 7 End of Unit Test today. Then students began working on their homework. HW: Milestone Review #1/2 (Front side only) Leach - Students reviewed Unit 7 for the test we will take this week. HW: Unit 7 Review Sheet Ledesma - Students learned to reflect points on the coordinate plane. HW: Owl Reflection Graph; New pink IXL due Tuesday 4/23 Shaw:Commencing 04/16-the six grade standards will be reviewed Units1-7-in class worksheets will be reviewed/practice worksheets given to students .Students are expected also, to work on IXL to build on stock knowledge and practice on specific standards.
