Bothers - I was out today, and my students worked on a review of order of operations and mean/median/mode/range. HW: Finish both sides of today's worksheet (Not on the blog due to copyright) Katz - Today we took the Unit 7 End of Unit Test. Students turned in their Unit 7 Study Guide and MSG for grading. HW: None Leach - Students practiced standards related to graphing on the coordinate plane, including distance and reflections. HW: Complete both sides of the Graphing Sheet Ledesma - Students learned to find the distance between points and use that information to solve problems. HW: Mystery Shapes WS; Purple IXL is due tomorrow.

Bothers - Today, we celebrated our homework stars with a free class period. Those that didn't make the homework stars worked on Unit 7 practice.

During FLT, we watched the tutorial about the upcoming Milestones. Since we are all testing on the computer, it's a good idea for students to be familiar with the format of the test, and to understand what tools will be available to them. Welcome back from Spring Break! Can you believe we only have 6 1/2 weeks of school left?? Sixth graders will take the ELA Milestones on April 24-25, and Math on May 6-7. Those dates will be here soon! Today in class, students worked on reflecting on a coordinate plane, finding distance on a coordinate plane, and graphing polygons.
