Middle School to High School Course Sequence
About Us!
Audra Bothers I have taught for 18 years in Cobb County, 14 of those years at ECMS. My favorite topics in math are integers, statistics, probability, and algebra. I enjoy challenging problem solving, and I hope to instill a love of math in all of my students! :)
I live in Kennesaw with my husband and two daughters. Claire is in 7th grade, and McKenzie is in 8th grade. They are both loving middle school! I also have two dogs - a chihuahua named Rosie, and a cockapoo named Daisy. I like to read and write, travel, shop, and dabble in arts and crafts. I love being able to use my creativity at home and in the classroom. I am also super competitive, so I love to play games! I'm one of those rare Cobb County natives, coming from King Springs ES, Griffin MS, and Campbell HS in Smyrna. My B.S. and Masters were both earned at Kennesaw State University. |
Yolanda Ledesma
I have taught for 19 years, all here at ECMS! Math is my favorite subject.
I live in Marietta with my 4 kids. My oldest, Maliik just graduated from Pope Highshool. My youngest son, Tray currently is a junior in high school. I have 2 beautiful daughters, Daniella (4 years old) and Selena (4 months old). My husband is in the military (United States Army) I enjoy playing tennis in my spare time. The first person to tell me they've read this will receive a prize. ;) |
Amanda Leach I have taught school in Cobb County for 13 years and the last four have been at ECMS. My favorite operation in math is multiplication, and I absolutely love to teach and do algebra! I hope that you enjoy math more after having me as your math teacher in 6th grade! I live in Marietta with my husband Chris, two daughters, who are in 7th (Cade) and 10th grade (Anna Neal) and our Labradoodle, Knoxy. I like to travel, watch and play sports and games, watch movies and spend time with my family. I grew up in Tennessee and graduated with a BA from the University of Tennessee and a Master's in Education from the University of South Carolina.

Jennifer Katz I am so excited to be back in the classroom after taking a break to raise my own children who will be in 7th and 9th grade this school year. I taught in Cobb County for three years prior to my break, and before that taught in Connecticut. I have my BS and MS both from the University of Tennessee (GO VOLS!)
I have tutored continuously during my time away from the classroom and have taught middle school math through Algebra III. I am a certified math geek and love to teach what I love! I believe that we teach math so that we can help create problem solvers. I want my students to think! In my spare time, I love to listen to music, read and hang out with friends and family. Since my husband and I met at Tennessee, and we are a family of Tennessee fans, we also try to get back to Knoxville for at least one football game a year. |
