Katz - Today we translated words into math symbols. HW: IXL Y.1 & Y.3 Leach - Students worked on translating words to math. HW: Translating Expressions worksheet (one side); IXL Y1 and Y5 (ongoing); Quiz Corrections due next Wednesday Ledesma - Students engaged in a Pick-a-Ride activity to evaluate expressions. HW: MSG pg. 10b. (Show appropriate work.) Work on blue IXL due: TUESDAY! Shaw: Today we reviewed Expression and Formulas-parts of an expressions (video presentation),and homework-showing the procedural steps (using requisite stock knowledge-exponents, order of operations, substituting and what the solution process should look like-no one line answer is acceptable) , Introduced- translating words to math(expressions) MSG pages 11a,11b,and 12a and 12b-HW student are to complete these pages and study pages 11a and 11b. IXL assignment given at the beginning of the week will be graded tomorrow .
