Bothers's classes took the mini post-test and worked on their study guide. They will take the test on Wednesday. Katz's classes took a quiz on inequalities and direct variation. They will test on Wednesday. Leach's classes reviewed for the test. Ledesma's classes went to the lab to work on IXL and review for Wednesday's test. Today, students continued to work on inequalities and direct variation. Then, they took a quiz on those standards. (Katz will quiz her students next week.) Next week, we will take our TEST on these standards, and equations will also be included. Leach's classes will test Tuesday; all other classes will test Wednesday.

Today we did an activity to reinforce how to write an inequality from words. Then, we learned how to graph solutions to inequalities on a number line. Mrs. Bothers's classes went to the computer lab to finish the Math Inventory and practice inequalities on IXL. Today, students investigated what an inequality is, and they worked to write inequalities to represent real-world situations. Some classes have also learned to graph inequalities on a number line. Welcome back! We hope you all had a wonderful Winter Break! Today, Katz's classes reviewed the content from Unit 4.and took a multiplication fluency test to see where we all stand at this point in the year. Students who have Bothers or Leach learned about inequalities, and Ledesma's students reviewed direct variation. Next week, we will have a test that will cover inequalities and direct variation, with a brief review of equations!
