Today, students learned to apply what they've learned about Greatest Common Factor and Least Common Multiple to real-world problems! We watched a clip from "Father of the Bride," in which there was a problem involving uneven numbers of hot dogs and buns. After the clip, students naturally applied the LCM to come up with a solution! Next, students filled in the guided notes in the MSG, and they worked through the practice problems. Be sure to look for those key words that are synonyms for "greatest" and "least," and think about what makes sense! All students will take the Unit 1 Test this Friday!! This will cover long division, decimal operations, fraction division, and GCF/LCM. Begin studying now!
